ParkUSA Update During COVID-19
Updated: March 22, 2020
As the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) impacts our industry, ParkUSA is taking steps to keep employees safe and provide products and services to our customers. Our pandemic planning team is working closely with government agencies and public health organizations and is prepared to execute business continuity plans.
MEMORANDUM ON IDENTIFICATION OF ESSENTIAL CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE WORKERS DURING COVID-19 RESPONSE
In his Coronavirus Guidance for America, President Trump stated employees in critical infrastructure "have a special responsibility" to maintain a normal work schedule. The Cybersecurity Infrastructure Agency (CISA) on March 19 issued an initial list of "Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers" to help State and local officials as they work to protect their communities, while ensuring continuity of functions critical to public health and safety, as well as economic and national security.
This list of essential infrastructure workers, in the document linked below, includes employees responsible for supporting "Water Wastewater Infrastructure, Critical Manufacturing, and Transportation Logistics". As referenced in the President's executive order, the CISA document can be found here:

BUSINESS CONTINUITY PLANS
This fluid situation may require implementing our pandemic operating plan with a command center staffed with essential operations personnel prepared to respond to various scenarios. The command center team will be responsible for critical manufacturing adjustments, jobsite technical startup and repairs, equipment planning, transportation logistics plan adjustments, procurement, other related other functions. The team will facilitate communication between operating staff and customers.
ParkUSA is asking customers for advanced notification of orders and expected shipment timing to ensure resources are properly positioned when needed. Understanding customer surges helps us provide the water solutions to keep each customer’s needs fulfilled.
ParkUSA is dedicated to maintaining a healthy workplace and following the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for businesses.
We issued guidance to employees regarding best practices to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus and have a core team of health and safety professionals prepared to respond to a potential outbreak.
