Univision needed a fire protection system and a water storage tank for its newly built Houston offices. After careful consideration and research, they chose the ParkUSA BreakTank™ as the optimal storage tank option.
We provided a 13-foot wide by 20-foot-long and 17-foot three-inches tall 30,000-gallon fire tank. This tank is a city-approved single compartment model providing ample water supply for the building’s fire protection system. Although as wide as a two-lane highway, the tank was factory-built and shipped complete to the job site. Upon arrival, the tank was set in place in less than two hours.
The tank interior is coated with a thick film coating to protect the system for years to come. The tank exterior is coated with a custom weather resistant coating chosen by the architect. This BreakTank™ also features a high/low level monitoring alarm to alert the risk of insufficient water or an overflow situation. The high-level alarm is tied into the building automation system.
